Review for The Vegetarian by: Han Kang

I liked the concept of this book. I felt like there could have been so much more potential. The first part of the book was the most exciting then everything got super weird with the brother-in law and his artsy fartsy stuff. The book was originally written in Korean in 2007 so it is possible that some context got lost in translation. I’d give this book a 2 out of 5 because it wasn’t very exciting for me and didn’t make much sense.

Good news though, I am reading currently Truly Madly Guilty by Liane Moriarty. kind of a slow start so far but seems promising. Has great reviews on goodread.com but I will make my final decision about it once I am finished.

More book reviews to come. I have them but have not started reading- A Word For Love by Emily Robbins and also Allegedly by Tiffany Jackson. Really excited to start Allegedly as it has great reviews so far and is my favorite genre.
